How come I see a URL at the top of the app?

The Unlocked Progressive Web App (PWA) version, is a hybrid between a website and an app. To hide the URL, the app must be installed. While you can use the app directly in your browser, it is recommended to install the app for a better user experience.

How do I turn on and off regular notifications?

To turn on your notifications, allow access when your mobile phone prompts you upon installing the app. If you do not receive this prompt, press and hold the Progressive Web App (PWA) icon on your home screen, go to Site Settings, and enable notifications. Follow the same process to turn notifications off.

The user grid appears blank.

To ensure the proper functioning of the user grid, please enable your device's GPS and grant location permissions. The user grid requires access to your GPS location data to accurately register and calculate the distances between you and other users.

What does the green, yellow and white border around images stand for?

The colored and non-existing locks on user's profiles images stands for the online status. Green (online) Yellow (away) White (offline).

Why does the text in the app appear white?

The text may appear white when using the app if you have "dark mode" activated on your device. Turn "dark mode" off when using the Unlocked app.

IOS/iPhone - Page keeps refreshing after asking for permissions.

(Web App Only) To stop Safari from auto-refreshing on your iPhone, you can follow these steps:

- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on "Safari."
- In the Safari settings, look for the "Auto-Refresh" option.
- Toggle the switch to turn off auto-refresh.
- By following these steps, you should be able to stop Safari from auto-refreshing on your iPhone.

Where can I find the permissions that I have allowed for the app, such as my location, microphone, and others?

Because the app is a Progressive Web App (PWA), permissions are handled quite differently and not by your device.

There are 2 methods on how to access permissions:

1. Tap and hold the app icon on your device and tap on site settings.

2. Depending on the browser from which you installed it, such as Google Chrome or Safari, open your browser and navigate to the top-right corner (on your mobile device only). Then, go to settings and scroll down to site settings. Choose the permissions you would like to view access from. Search for https://unlocked-yymb4u.flutterflow.app to verify that permissions are allowed.

How come my messages are not sending?

Occasionally, you may encounter difficulties sending messages, especially following an update from Unlocked. In such instances, it's advisable to wait a brief moment, and then attempt to send your message again. This pause allows for any adjustments or optimizations resulting from the update to take effect, potentially resolving the issue. Your message will appear blank if it does not send successfully.

How come I cannot see my entire message history?

The Unlocked app message history is currently limited to 150 messages.

What is the video and photo upload limit for the app?

Photos will be resized to 700px by 700px. Videos have a maximum upload limit of 100mb.

How are payments and credit/debit card information handled?

All payments and associated information are handled outside of the Unlocked app, using the payment provider Square. (Web app). For Google play and Apple App Store users, billing is handled by Google and Revenue Cat.
