How much does listing an event cost?

Listing events via the Unlocked website are free of charge. We do kindly request that you share the app on your social media and/or print a poster to put up in the venue during your event. By doing so this helps promote the app and in-turn attracts more visiblity to your events.

How are the pictures AI moderated?

Profile images are screened via SightEngine.com apis. They are temporarily checked for nudity and content containing self-harm, scammers, fake pictures, ai generated pictures, content containing children and more. This helps keep the platform safe.

Are nude pictures allowed on the app?

Only in private chats and/or the content page which users can request to access. This allows Unlocked to stay on the app stores.

I cannot upload pictures with my iPhone or Mac device.

When uploading photos to the Unlocked Web App, iPhone and Mac devices may automatically block pop-ups, which can prevent you from selecting photos.

To resolve this issue:

iPhone Users:

Open the Safari browser.
Go to "Settings" > "Safari."
Scroll down and locate "Block Pop-ups."
Disable the toggle to allow pop-ups for the Unlocked Web App.
Mac Users:

Open the Safari browser.
Navigate to "Safari" > "Settings" (or "Preferences" on older versions).
Click on the "Websites" tab.
Locate "Pop-up Windows" in the left sidebar.
Find "www.fetishunlocked.app" in the list and select "Allow" from the drop-down menu.
Following these steps will ensure a smooth experience when uploading photos to the Unlocked Web App.

I have not been receiving notifications. Please help

To ensure you receive notifications, please make sure the "Do Not Disturb" option on your mobile device is turned off. Notifications must be allowed on your device.

To check your permissions:

Tap and hold the Unlocked icon on your mobile device.
Go to "Site Settings."
Select "Notifications."

Please note:
Notifications will only appear when you are not currently using the app.
If you are using the app, a sound will play when you receive a notification, and an orange message icon will appear over your profile picture in the top right corner.

Is there a limit on how many business and/or event listings I can post?

Unlimited Listings: Share an unlimited number of events, services, or products to maximize your reach and engagement.

How do I stop receiving Newsletters?

To stop receiving newletters from Unlocked, simply go to the bottom of the email and press unsubscribe.

How come I see a URL at the top of the app?

Unlocked is a Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning it is a hybrid between a website and an app. To hide the URL, the app must be installed. While you can use the app directly in your browser, it is recommended to install the app for a better user experience.

How do I turn on and off regular notifications?

To turn on your notifications, allow access when your mobile phone prompts you upon installing the app. If you do not receive this prompt, press and hold the Progressive Web App (PWA) icon on your home screen, go to Site Settings, and enable notifications. Follow the same process to turn notifications off.

The user grid appears blank.

To ensure the proper functioning of the user grid, please enable your device's GPS and grant location permissions. The user grid requires access to your GPS location data to accurately register and calculate the distances between you and other users.

What does the green, yellow and no lock stand for?

The colored and non-existing locks on user's profiles images stands for the online status. Green (online) Yellow (away) No lock (offline).

Why does the text in the app appear white?

The text may appear white when using the app if you have "dark mode" activated on your device. Turn "dark mode" off when using the Unlocked app.
