How come some of my messages have been deleted?

On occasion Unlocked can have technical errors resulting in blank messages. This can happen if a duplicate chat has been opened or if a user has been deleted or blocked. We are actively working to address this issue.

How come some of my interests/kinks were deleted or modified? How come they are no longer in the search function for other users?

Interests/Kinks may be modified or changed for the following reasons:

*Duplicate or similar kinks with minor punctuation differences
*Kinks containing multiple spelling errors
*To improve your visibility in search results for other users
*To prevent misuse or spamming of our kink search feature

Interests/Kinks may be removed for the following reasons:

*Interests that are not kink-related (please keep interests kink-focused; personal interests can be discussed with other members)
*Interests that promote drinking, drugs, or violence (this is strictly against all App Store policies)
*Interests/kinks added to the "NOT INTERESTED" section referencing someone's Race, Religion, Political View, Gender or Sex.

How come images on my profile were deleted without notice?

Images on your profile may be removed without notice for the following reasons:

*AI-generated images
*Images related to religion or politics (please keep images relevant to the purpose of the app)
*Nude images that were not correctly filtered by our moderation system (to remain App Store–compliant)
*Images containing children
*Fake or scam images
*Images depicting violence or self-harm
*Images promoting or encouraging drug use

How come my profile was deleted without notice?

Your profile may have been deleted without notice for the following reasons:

*Fake Images
*Spam/Suspicious information on your profile
*Completely different location compared to what is specified in your profile
*Spamming other users with links to websites

Unlocked has zero tolerance for fake/spam profiles and conducts reviews regularly.

How much does it cost to have my business mentioned in Unlocked App's Newsletter and notification system?

It costs $10 CAD per shout in our Newsletter and Notification system. Reach ALL of our users in one shot! Please note our Newsletter comes out approximately once a month. Notifications can be sent right away.

How much does listing an event cost?

Listing events via the Unlocked website are free of charge. We do kindly request that you share the app on your social media and/or print a poster to put up in the venue during your event. By doing so this helps promote the app and in-turn attracts more visibility to your events.

How are the pictures AI moderated?

Profile images are screened via SightEngine.com apis. They are temporarily checked for nudity and content containing self-harm, scammers, fake pictures, ai generated pictures, content containing children and more. This helps keep the platform safe.

Are nude pictures allowed on the app?

Only in private chats and/or the content page which users can request to access. This allows Unlocked to stay on the app stores.

I cannot upload pictures with my iPhone or Mac device.

When uploading photos to the Unlocked Web App version via iPhone and Mac devices may automatically block pop-ups, which can prevent you from selecting photos.

To resolve this issue:

iPhone Users:

Open the Safari browser.
Go to "Settings" > "Safari."
Scroll down and locate "Block Pop-ups."
Disable the toggle to allow pop-ups for the Unlocked Web App.
Mac Users:

Open the Safari browser.
Navigate to "Safari" > "Settings" (or "Preferences" on older versions).
Click on the "Websites" tab.
Locate "Pop-up Windows" in the left sidebar.
Find "www.fetishunlocked.app" in the list and select "Allow" from the drop-down menu.
Following these steps will ensure a smooth experience when uploading photos to the Unlocked Web App.

I have not been receiving notifications. Please help

To ensure you receive notifications, please make sure the "Do Not Disturb" option on your mobile device is turned off. Notifications must be allowed on your device.

To check your permissions:

Tap and hold the Unlocked icon on your mobile device.
Go to "Site Settings."
Select "Notifications."

Please note:
Notifications will only appear when you are not currently using the app.
If you are using the app, a sound will play when you receive a notification, and an orange message icon will appear over your profile picture in the top right corner.

Is there a limit on how many business and/or event listings I can submit?

Unlimited Listings: Share an unlimited number of events, services, or products to maximize your reach and engagement.
